Tierra’s big news this year is the Cosmique series, designed for those who thrive in the high mountains, love high heart rates, and challenging skiing. The garments are primarily adapted for freeride skiing like off-piste or randonnée (ski touring outside groomed areas) to handle lots of movement, quick turns, and harsh weather. The name Cosmique comes from one of the most popular areas for freeride skiing: Couloir des Cosmiques in Chamonix, France. Cosmique is available as a three-layer shell jacket and pants in Gore-Tex Pro Shell, as a Windstopper, and as a soft, comfortable hooded sweater.
Cosmique Jacket – The shell jacket for the connoisseur, with 3-layer Gore-Tex and a two-way zipper with safety button at the bottom. Three-point helmet-compatible hood. Two hand pockets. Two-way chest pocket that fits a two-way radio. Lift pass pocket. The removable snow skirt is compatible with Cosmique pants as well as the Rond and Laub models.
