Deuter was the first to market a TÜV-certified child carrier in 1996 and has continued developing their products since. Today they offer three different models – Kid Comfort I, II, and III. Recently, their updated Kid Comfort III received the OutDoor Industry Award at the trade fair in Friedrichshafen. Comfort and safety remain the top priorities for the carriers, and a new feature for the 2014 models is the unique footrest, developed together with pediatrician Dr. Micha Bahr. The footrest is flexible and ergonomically designed and can be easily adjusted in height. Additional product details include: adjustable back system, sturdy aluminum frame, comfortably designed seat for the child, and a five-point safety harness.
