Devold of Norway has developed a base layer series in 100% merino wool, combining different knitting techniques. Both the mesh and rib knitting are highly elastic and follow the body’s movements. The mesh traps air in the cavities of the yarn structure, which is warmed by body temperature when we’re active. This returns warmth to us when we stop. Functional and visual requirements have influenced the design and placement of the rib knitting, which provides extra strength and durability. Devold® Wool Mesh knitting thus ensures a loose and very soft fabric that contains air, providing optimal insulation in a lightweight fabric.
Wool Mesh has excellent moisture-wicking properties that keep you dry as well as warm. The garments work wonderfully in combination with the Sport and Expedition collections, but the tops also have a nice design and can be worn on their own.
Devold® Wool Mesh is now available in stores in Sweden.
