The “Kompakt Recycled” model offers the same insulation values as the regular “Kompakt” and weighs just 50 grams more.
The insulating fill as well as the inner and outer materials are made from recycled PET bottles, meaning approximately 50 percent less energy is required to produce this sleeping bag compared to new production. It takes about 40 bottles to produce one Kompakt Recycled.
In summer 2011, Mammut will expand its successful Kompakt series with this recycled material model offering a comfort zone of -5 degrees Celsius.
When it comes to details and design, this eco-friendly sleeping bag is no different from its traditional counterparts.
