Fjällräven has developed the Tur Set, a series of garments for those who want to truly enjoy winter touring. It includes the Tur Jacket, Tur Trousers, a warming down jacket – Tur Down Jacket, Tur Fleece Hoodie, and two different hats, Tur Hat and Tur Heater.
Tur Jacket and Tur Trousers (shown right) are shell garments in the durable and well-ventilating G-1000 material, also reinforced with Vinylon F in exposed areas. The jacket features a three-way adjustable storm hood, a pocket for compass or GPS, and two chest pockets large enough to hold a 1-liter water bottle. Tur Trousers have many smart features, such as full-length side zippers and pockets for seat pads and knee pads. Recommended price: approx. 3,000 SEK/piece.
Tur Down Jacket is a new warm down jacket that works as a warming outer layer over shell garments and is intended for winter tours and skiing in really low temperatures.
It’s made from lightweight, tear-resistant, and supple polyamide with reinforcement on shoulders and elbows for extra durability. The fill consists of high-quality down – 95% goose down, 5% feather – and the shoulders are equipped with Supreme Micro Loft fill to withstand pressure and moisture.
