For winter 2011, Haglöfs launches the Endo Jacket – a highly technical jacket for high-pulse activities that is part of a new program of 3-layer shell garments with a total of 12 new jackets and trousers in GORE-TEX® Pro Shell, Active Shell, and Haglöfs Proof™.
When you can no longer remove any detail, you’ve created the perfect product. This approach has always been a central part of Haglöfs’ design philosophy: that everything is there for a reason and that all details have a clear, obvious function. It was also the foundation in the development of the Endo Jacket. According to Haglöfs, the jacket has outstanding breathability, low weight, and pack volume while being completely waterproof. The jacket is available in men’s and women’s models with matching trousers, the Endo Pant.
The Endo Jacket is built on GORE-TEX® Active Shell – a revolutionary material that has created entirely new conditions for the design and development of outdoor clothing. Active Shell is a 3-layer GORE-TEX® fabric where the membrane is attached using an alternative lamination technique. The membrane is also significantly thinner than other membranes. This results in a very lightweight material with extremely good breathability and a body-close fit. Thanks to the Endo Jacket’s combination of waterproofness and breathability, the jacket can stay on even after it stops raining. The jacket’s light weight and fit also help the user get maximum performance. The same naturally applies to the trousers, the Endo Pant.
Among the technical details, you’ll find a three-way adjustable hood, breathable chest pocket in woven stretch without membrane, one-hand adjustable waist adjustment, and pre-curved sleeves with elastic cuffs and thumb grips. The women’s model weighs 275 grams in size M and the men’s model in size L weighs 320 grams.
