Helly Hansen introduces a training collection
Helly Hansen’s 2011 range added training apparel developed with athletes including Anna Haag and Emil Jönsson.

Helly Hansen expanded beyond its sailing and skiing collections with a training range for 2011. Aimed at beginners and experienced athletes, both women and men, the garments were designed by Helly Hansen and developed with contributors including Anna Haag and Emil Jönsson.
The collection included jackets, T-shirts, sleeveless tops, tights, shorts and underwear in bold seasonal colors, complementing the brand’s established sportswear.
Women’s range
The tops included breathable zones, including beneath the bust, designed to move moisture away and help keep the body dry. Tights used Helly Hansen’s Lifa material with spandex to retain their shape. Offered in long and short versions, they had contrasting leg details and a rear key pocket.
Pace shorts could be worn alone or over tights. For windy outdoor sessions, the ultralight, fitted Stratos Windshirt Jacket included reflective details and side pockets. Its lining also used Lifa material.
Men’s range
The training tops used features including Lifa Stay Dry to transport moisture away from the body. Lifa-and-spandex tights came in long and short versions, with contrasting leg details and a rear key pocket.
Pace shorts could be worn separately or over tights. The ultralight Stratos Windshirt Jacket provided a wind layer with reflective details and side pockets.
