Klymit Inertia X Frame Weighs Only 258 Grams
One of the year's biggest innovations from Klymit – the Inertia X Frame sleeping pad weighs only 258 grams thanks to its unique design and packs down to soda can size.

One of the year’s biggest innovations comes from Klymit with their recently presented Inertia X Frame.
The Inertia X Frame weighs just 258 grams thanks to its unique design and can be inflated in three different ways. Blow it up yourself, use the included hand pump, or inflate it with Argon, which according to the manufacturer insulates very well against cold. The hand pump is included and fits together with the sleeping pad in a stuff sack roughly the size of a 33 cl can. Not bad! Argon and its accompanying pump can be purchased as accessories. For extra insulation, Klymit’s vests or other garments can be placed on the sleeping pad.
I ♥ OUTDOOR conducted a quick test of the Inertia X Frame during SOD and was truly surprised by the pad’s comfort and weight. At first glance, the sleeping pad doesn’t look particularly comfortable with all its cutouts, but once you’re on it, the pad provides the support you need where body pressure is greatest. We recommend that those curious about this unusual sleeping pad try it out – you’ll be surprised!
The Inertia X Frame will be a highly sought-after product among multisport athletes and other gram counters. At 258 grams, the sleeping pad is approximately 140 grams lighter than Therm-A-Rest’s NeoAir.
Klymit is marketed in Sweden by Gear AB – price details will be updated shortly.
