Packable Comfortable Jackets in PrimaLoft for Summer and Fall Activities

We continue our tips on PrimaLoft jackets – this time PrimaLoft® One, for all summer and fall adventures. The material that keeps you both warm and cool during summer activities. PrimaLoft’s patented microfiber structure uses your body’s energy to retain heat. In winter, these garments are best used as insulation instead of a fleece. The Cecilie Light Insulated Anorak from Bergans is a wind and water-resistant jacket in Pertex Quantum insulated with PrimaLoft® One. Low weight and favorable pack volume make it the perfect garment to stow in your backpack on cycling or hiking trips. It also has an integrated compression pocket to make it as small as possible. An extremely light, windproof, and insulating jacket in recycled polyester and PrimaLoft® One that provides exceptional warmth relative to weight. It’s a quick-drying lightweight jacket in eco-friendly materials with water-resistant treatment free from PFOS/PFOA. Full-length zipper with chin guard, elastic cuffs, and hem. Stuff sack included. The Haglöfs Barrier Pro is frequently used by adventurer Ola Skinnarmo, who recommends it as a great insulation layer to wear both under and over your jacket.

Norröna – Lyngen clo 100

The Lyngen clo 100 from Norröna is a light, compressible jacket with lots of warmth – also in PrimaLoft® One. It’s wind-resistant and breathes very well. Perfect to pack compressed in your backpack until you need it most – for instance during breaks or low-activity moments.

The jacket’s hand warmer pockets are positioned high so they don’t interfere with a backpack or harness.
