Lundhags Ahke jacket and pants for active days outdoors
The 2011 Ahke range combined polycotton with waterproof panels and reinforced areas for hiking.
Ahke joined Lundhags’s Polycotton range in 2011, offering a lightweight jacket and pants with practical details for hiking.
Ahke Jacket
The jacket was designed for active outdoor use in varied weather. Its single-layer construction was light, breathable and water-resistant, with waterproof Zethar panels on the hood and shoulders for added protection. The fabric was soft and the fit relatively close.
In its press release, Lundhags highlighted the work put into details such as pockets positioned for access while wearing a backpack. A built-in pocket also helped ventilation. Two internal chest pockets offered space for a phone or GPS unit, while an adjustable waist and two-way hood adjustment allowed the fit to be tailored.
Ahke Pant
The pants used the same main fabric, with waterproof Zethar at the knees and seat. Kevlar reinforcement ran from just below the knees to the cuffs, which were sewn with extra-strong thread for durability on demanding outings.
Lundhags’s Boot-loc system held the legs in position. Side zippers improved ventilation, and storage included two large leg pockets and two zippered trouser pockets.
The Polycotton fabric contained 65% polyester and 35% organic cotton. Lundhags described it as free from fluorocarbons, as part of the range’s sustainability approach.
