Lundhags EXA – The Ice Skating Revolution!
With Lundhags' winter products hitting store shelves, the revolutionary EXA long-distance ice skate is now available – made from a single piece of stainless steel.

With Lundhags’ winter products hitting store shelves, the EXA long-distance ice skate is now also available. A revolutionary product made from a single piece.
The EXA is made from very strong stainless Swedish steel and has a unique S-profile visible in the images below. Being made from a single piece provides – in addition to better shock absorption and excellent ice contact – a construction with fewer separate components. After approximately 18 months of product development, the EXA is now on the market. The skate will be sold in two versions for lighter (Spirit) and heavier skaters, and can be purchased with or without bindings. The pre-drilled holes should fit most bindings on the market.
Lundhags writes the following on their website:
“The EXA skate’s unique S-profile contributes not only to a skate you can trust. The open profile also provides a more comfortable skating experience. Our tests show, for example, that the vibrations created by the blade’s contact with the ice travel up and out horizontally, instead of straight up into the skater’s legs.
The S-profile also means that each stroke requires less force. This is because when you begin your stroke and apply downward force, some of the energy is stored in the S-profile and released when you release the pressure on the skate.”
A very exciting product that definitely awakens desire.
EXA without binding costs SEK 1,000.
EXA with NNN BC binding costs SEK 1,700.
