The Variant Jacket combines insulation over the chest and stomach with flexibility and ventilation over the back and arms. This is an innovative garment with a body-hugging fit that we at the editorial team really appreciated when we tried it on. The insulation on the front is made from Thermal R Eco, which contains natural, organic, and recycled materials for minimal environmental impact. The sleeves and back panel are made from the thinner Polartec® Power Stretch® for increased ventilation, moisture transport, and freedom of movement.
This is the jacket for intense activities during the colder months. Thumb holes keep the sleeves in place when removing outer layers and gloves.
