Nikwax Cotton Proof is easy to use in the washing machine at home and makes all cotton fabrics water-repellent so you stay warmer and drier when caught in a rain shower. With the new, improved, and three times more concentrated version, users get not only a better-performing product but also more value for money.
Nowadays, the favorite trousers for walks and hikes during spring and fall are often made from a cotton/synthetic blend. It’s also becoming increasingly popular to wear cotton wind jackets in summer. When it rains, pure or blended cotton fabrics usually absorb quite a lot of water. The clothes become wet, heavy, and cold. A simple treatment with Nikwax Cotton Proof adds Durable Water Repellency (DWR) that makes the clothes absorb less water, dry faster, and become much more comfortable to wear.

Cotton Proof has been developed specifically to treat cotton and cotton/polyester fabrics. It gives the fibers a flexible water-repellent surface that lets air through. This means your clothes continue to breathe as before, repel water better, and absorb less water.
