GoGirl: a compact stand-to-pee funnel
The reusable silicone device was designed for outdoor trips, travel and festivals.
GoGirl is a compact funnel that allows women to urinate while standing. Similar products already existed when this 2010 article appeared, but its material and packaging made it a practical option.
The device fits in a backpack or pocket and offers an alternative to squatting behind rocks or bushes or sitting on a dirty public toilet.
The original product information described it as made from medical-grade silicone that could be boiled. For routine cleaning, it instructed users to wash it with soap and water, shake it to help it dry, then roll it up for storage.
The article welcomed a straightforward, reusable solution for outdoor activities, travel and festivals.
