New Zealand’s Icebreaker has developed a soft and stylish travel collection for spring 2011 called Superfine, with garments in 100% merino wool for both women and men. A series of wrinkle-free and lightweight garments perfect to pack for a summer city trip or why not an upcoming alpine hike.
The Superfine collection spans from light tank tops – with and without prints – to tops, cardigans, short and long-sleeved polos, hoodies, shorter skirts, and stylishly fitted dresses for women. The men’s collection includes a spectrum of different short and long-sleeved t-shirts with or without prints, sharp shirts, and polos. Colors range from black and muted taupe to livelier shades like cerise, bright red, turquoise, and pea green.
The entire collection is perfect for welcoming spring, and the garments have all the properties that make Icebreaker so unique: lightweight, soft, quick-drying, warm, and breathable. They’re also odor-resistant, have high UV protection, and are environmentally biodegradable. Superfine comes in gram weights of 150–200, and the garment thickness suits spring’s upcoming lukewarm days and cooler evenings. Superfine is made from a fabric that doesn’t pill, maintains its shape, and keeps you feeling well-dressed for a long time.
All garments have a unique code: BAACODE – which lets you trace the garment back to its origin. This way you can follow the garment’s eco-friendly production and animal-friendly treatment from New Zealand to the store.
