As winter 2011 approached, Salomon presented products for skiing, snow adventures and winter trail running.

Sideways and Reflex were among its leading freeski ranges, with features for skiing both on and off piste.

Reflex Jacket: A new, relaxed, longer-cut jacket with technical details and a choice of bold colors. Price: SEK 2,300 for the jacket and SEK 1,800 for the pants.

Sideways 3L Jacket: Made with climaPRO storm and lighter than previous versions for easier movement in the mountains. Price: SEK 3,500. Matching options included the Sidewaysbib Pant at SEK 3,500 and Sideways Pant at SEK 2,500.

Quest 14 freeride boot: A new alpine boot intended for exploring more of the mountain, with features designed to improve walking grip on surfaces such as rock. Price: SEK 5,000.

Salomon Lord 15 + 5: A compact off-piste backpack with practical compartments and attachments for skis or a snowboard. Price: SEK 1,000.

Equipe 8: A light, stable classic ski for recreational skiers working toward Vasaloppet. Its low camber was intended to combine glide with grip and an effective kick. Price: SEK 1,800.

Spikecross 3CS: A winter trail-running shoe based on the Speedcross, with nine carbide studs for slippery trails and roads. The CLIMASHIELD upper was designed to keep feet drier and warmer. Other features included Quicklace lacing and a Mud & Snow non-marking outsole.
