Silva Tipi combines a headlamp and flashlight
The 2012 Silva Tipi used a removable lamp body to switch between hands-free and handheld lighting.
Sometimes a headlamp is useful; at other times, a flashlight is easier. Silva’s Tipi combined both by allowing the lamp body to detach from its head mount.
The small, lightweight design was intended for flexible lighting while camping, hiking, walking in the evening, finding something near a tent or working in a car or boat. Its compact size made it easy to carry, while a large on/off button could be used with gloves.
The Tipi came in green and orange, with availability scheduled for September 2012 and a recommended retail price of SEK 220.
