SKHOOP launches its first summer collection
Åre-based SKHOOP expanded beyond its insulated skirts in 2012 with summer skirts and Swedish-made clogs developed with Dala Clogs.
Founded in Åre in 1999, Swedish brand SKHOOP built its identity around the insulated skirt. Its range expanded to fleece, merino base layers, hats, ski socks, ski clothing and down jackets and coats. In 2012, it introduced its first summer collection.
“Our distinctive insulated skirts are SKHOOP’s DNA, so moving into Two-in-one summer skirts with a side zipper is a natural step for the brand,” said designer and co-owner Sissi Kewenter. “It is wonderful that women who enjoy our products can now also choose a summer collection with distinctive designs.”
Swedish clogs handmade in Malung
Working with Dala Clogs, SKHOOP also developed clogs for customers who liked shopping through Swedish sports and outdoor retailers. The handmade clogs were intended to offer the quality and feel the brand sought across its range.
