Compact Petzl headlamps for everyday use

Petzl’s 2015 Classic range paired simple controls with compact designs for travel, walks, household jobs and power cuts.

Tikka, Zipka and Tikkina were the three compact headlamps in Petzl’s 2015 Classic series. Designed for the whole family, they were easy to use and carry on trips, outings and evening walks, as well as for household work or unexpected winter power cuts.

Once a specialist item, the headlamp had become an everyday tool. A compact light offers more freedom during the dark half of the year, when daylight ends long before the day’s activities do.

The three Classic models used Petzl’s Standard Lighting technology, producing a white beam that gradually weakened as the batteries ran down. Batteries were included.

Tikkina

E91HB-Tikkina-bleu

The smallest model provided practical extra light for camping, fishing, searching a basement storage space or car, and finding your way during a power cut. Petzl also presented it as a choice for children. It had two lighting modes and came in blue, turquoise, green and purple. Output: 60 lumens. Beam distance: 30 meters.

Zipka

E93ZY-Zipka-jaune

The compact Zipka used a retractable cord, making it easy to carry in a handbag or jacket pocket. It suited evening walks, taking the dog out and household jobs where both hands needed to remain free. It could also be worn on the wrist. It had two lighting modes and came in blue and yellow. Output: 80 lumens. Beam distance: 50 meters.

Tikka

E93HF-Tikka-fushia

The Tikka had a broad, comfortable headband designed to hold the light steadily while jogging or walking briskly. This compact model had two lighting modes and came in blue, yellow, gray and red. Output: 80 lumens. Beam distance: 50 meters.

Classic series specifications at launch

The announcement listed three included AAA/LR03 batteries, a weight of 85 g and a three-year warranty. Recommended prices were SEK 255 for the Tikkina, SEK 395 for the Zipka and SEK 319 for the Tikka.
