Trangia’s Multifuel X2 allowed users to choose between gas, gasoline, diesel and kerosene.

The burner came with two jets: one for gas, white gas and unleaded gasoline, and another for kerosene and diesel. The original 2010 overview emphasized that each fuel involved tradeoffs.

It described gas as generally convenient and efficient because it required no preheating and avoided soot.

The source advised using automotive gasoline, diesel and kerosene only when necessary because of additives, health hazards and sooty combustion. It specifically warned against leaded gasoline and noted that deposits from some fuels required more frequent cleaning.

The package included the burner, pump, 0.6-liter fuel bottle, service tool, two jets and a carrying case. Listed weight was 525 g.
