South Korean footwear brand Treksta entered Sweden through Sporthaus Moxter in 2011, with models for adults and children. Sales were due to begin that spring, and the distributor reported strong early orders.

Treksta’s distinguishing features included Nestfit, based on extensive 3D scans of thousands of feet to create a close anatomical fit, and Icelock soles designed for grip on slippery surfaces. Other technologies included Gore-Tex membranes and BOA quick-adjust lacing.

A children’s and junior collection was scheduled for autumn. Developed with Mats Bengtsson of Sporthaus Moxter, who had many years of experience with children’s shoes and boots, Treksta Nestfit Kids used the same technical approach as the adult range. Development was completed in August 2010, with arrival in stores planned for August 2011.

The collection covered children’s sizes 20–31 and junior sizes 32–41. Features included warm linings, Treksta’s orthopedic 3D footbed, Icelock soles, a wide opening with a secure heel fit, quick-drying technical materials and Gore-Tex membranes. Some models would also use BOA lacing.

Sporthaus Moxter initially planned to prioritize retailers carrying the full Treksta concept, making it possible to find shoes for the whole family in one store.
