Lundhags Spåime and Temple for winter warmth
A look at Lundhags’s 2010 lambswool midlayers and insulated Temple parkas.
With cold weather arriving in November 2010, Lundhags’s autumn catalog offered several warm additions.
The Spåime knitted midlayers used 100% lambswool, with a chunky knit to retain body heat. The women’s and men’s versions differed substantially. In the original review, the writer preferred the more contemporary women’s design, with its hood and zipper, to the classic men’s sweater shown in the main image.
The men’s version, also available in blue, cost SEK 1,000. The hood and zipper brought the women’s version to SEK 1,200.
For an outer layer, the Temple parka came in long-cut men’s and women’s versions. Both had five pockets plus an internal pocket with a headphone-cable opening. Two-layer Zeth-Ar fabric with a finish described as environmentally considerate, taped seams and 200 g PrimaLoft Sport insulation were intended to keep out cold and moisture.
The adjustable hood had removable synthetic-fur trim. Fleece cuffs included thumbholes, while the waist and hem were adjustable. A sturdy two-way zipper completed the design.
Temple cost SEK 3,300 and came in green and gray.
