Tierra Celebrates 30th Anniversary by Expanding with Clothing Designed for High-Intensity Activities
Tierra now presents their summer 2013 collection, with the big news being garments designed for high-intensity activities including GORE-TEX Active® shell garments and ultralight wind jackets.
Tierra now presents their summer collection for 2013, with the big news being garments designed for high-intensity activities. The first step includes not only shell garments in GORE-TEX Active® but also ultralight wind jackets, running tights, performance base layers/tank tops, and running shorts. The world’s highest-ranked multisport team, Thule Adventure Team, will train and compete in these clothes.
-Developing these clothes is a natural step in our evolution, says Tierra’s Brand Manager Erik Tjerneld. Our customers are used to shell garments that withstand the most varied weather conditions and want the same level of quality and functionality when they exercise.
Tierra was founded in 1983 by Anders Andersson in Kinna, outside Borås. The company outfitted the first all-Swedish expedition to successfully summit Mount Everest in 1991. Today, Tierra has offices in Stockholm and Örnsköldsvik. Tierra develops and sells products for active outdoor life and expeditions.
