On their website, Åre Bike Park writes:
“It’s obviously on a small scale during the opening weekend with Kälkspåret as the open trail and Bergbanan as the lift, but still – we’re opening! Kälkspåret looks great. It has dried up really well and conditions will be excellent. The section we rebuilt during the fall also seems to be in great shape – though it’s not yet broken in, it will work well.
Bergbanan is free during the opening weekend, which has become a tradition. There will also be plenty of guests in Åre since it’s the finals weekend for the winter season with Skutskjutet and Freeride…
…So – time to polish the bike, lube the chain, and pump up the tires:
