We’ve chosen the EtaSolo as “Hardware of the Year” – primarily for its light and practical design, but also for its fast boiling time and lower fuel consumption, which is kinder to our environment.

Over the past year, we’ve handled and examined countless products. There are many innovative and new gadgets that could just as well have been named hardware of the year. But when we evaluate everything, it’s still the EtaSolo that takes the prize.

Although we first saw this product design several years ago when Jetboil was presented, Primus has always been in the picture since they supplied the technology behind it.

Now we finally have a product where quality is consistently top-class throughout, and since Jetboil is no longer available on the Swedish market, the choice is easy – especially if you’re looking for a sleek all-in-one stove system.

The pot holds 0.9 liters and is insulated with a removable, heat-resistant sleeve with built-in grip. The lid has an opening so you can easily drink directly from the pot. The burner base is made from impact-resistant plastic and can be packed inside the pot together with a 100-gram gas canister. The burner features piezo ignition, of course, and the entire unit weighs only 365 grams.
