The Banff Mountain Film Festival is the world’s largest film festival for mountain sports and mountain experiences. The breadth of the film selection is unmatched. Categories such as Mountain Sports, Climbing, Mountain Environment, Adventure and Exploration, Short Mountain Film, Feature Length, Grand Prize, and People’s Choice Award are crowned every year. The festival is held annually the first weekend of November in Banff, Alberta, Canada, and in 2013 the festival turns 37.
