On August 12th, an extraordinary cycling challenge kicks off! Cycle to, up, and down Gesundaberget, with a SEK 10,000 prize pool waiting at the awards ceremony!
Gesundaberget in partnership with Sollerö If/cycling is organizing a cycling triathlon for both recreational and elite cyclists. The event takes place on three different surfaces and inclines, and if desired, on 3 different types of bikes: Road cycling/asphalt, MTB XC on gravel/etc. up Gesundaberget, and downhill down the mountain.
The competition can be done either individually or as a relay in teams of three.
There is an option to switch bikes for the individual classes at the transition station between the different legs; the same station applies for transitions between team relay members. If preferred, all three legs can be completed on a full-suspension MTB.
