Among Get Out’s Christmas gift tips, we came across “Minsta boken om fjällvandring” (The Smallest Book About Mountain Hiking) – a board book for children.
In the book, you follow a mountain hiker and a dog on a trek along Kungsleden between Abisko and Kebnekaise, concluding with a summit of Sweden’s highest mountain. Each spread has a flap to open with pictures telling the story of the adventure – what it looks like in a sleeper carriage on the way to the mountains, or what you carry in your backpack. There’s also a review of the mountain world’s various animals and the things you need when cooking outdoors.
