kupilka kasa 21-1We tested a kuksa cup and cutlery from Finnish brand KUPILKA during early summer. The products are made from a biomaterial consisting of 50% pine fiber and 50% thermoplastic, which combines the advantages of both materials. The stability and durability of wood, but without absorbing odors or stains.

During our recent trips in the Trosa archipelago and ski touring in the Norwegian mountains, we had the pleasure of trying two products from KUPILKA.

The KUPILKA 21 Cup is a classic 2.1 dl kuksa cup that really feels lovely to drink from. It weighs just 85 grams and is dishwasher safe.

A cup of really hot coffee or chocolate is always welcome when you’re out on a trip. It handles heat well, and you don’t burn yourself when you touch it. In short, a solid and durable cup for every occasion.

KUPILKA Outdoor Cutlery is a set in the same beneficial material. The set consists of a fork, knife, tablespoon, and teaspoon. A great set if you’re not short on space and want to eat with proper cutlery. Dishwasher safe here too.

All products are recyclable, and the packaging they come in is made from recycled cardboard. Good for the environment, plain and simple.

When used, all products give a genuine feeling of quality, and several travel companions commented on them, thinking we were drinking from a cup made of wood – which must have been one of KUPILKA’s goals when the products were developed. The environmental thinking, quality feel, and unique design make these interesting products worth purchasing.

Currently they’re only available at outnet.se
KUPILKA 21 Cup costs SEK 179
KUPILKA Outdoor Cutlery costs SEK 99.
