On April 20, the absolute best climbers ever assembled in the Nordic region will compete at Tierra Boulder Battle 2011. The competition takes place at Klättercentret at Telefonplan in Stockholm.
Bouldering is a climbing discipline where competitors climb on large boulders or relatively low walls. The competition will be a spectacular show for both competitors and spectators, with mood-setting music and lighting and a commentator providing live updates about the participants.
The competitors – five women and five men – each build their own “problem,” which they then compete on. The problems will remain for Klättercentret’s visitors for a couple of weeks after the competition.
