Lundhags Expands to Stockholm

Things are looking up for Lundhags, and expansion plans include recruiting new personnel and establishing a sales, marketing, and product development office in Stockholm.
Lundhags’ base remains in Järpen, Jämtland. That’s where the unique shoemaking workshop is located, where the famous Lundhags boots are manufactured and developed, along with the concept store. These two units will together be further developed into a “Lundhags experience center for outdoor life.” But since Lundhags has doubled their turnover in a short time, expansion plans have been set in motion. The product range will be developed and clarified, as will the brand’s identity, and efforts to increase sales in Sweden, the rest of the Nordics, and the German market will be intensified.
As part of the expansion, Erik Abrahamsson, formerly Brand Manager at Craft, and Tommy Österman, most recently Export Manager at Björn Borg, have been recruited to strengthen Lundhags in product and brand development and in sales. Additional recruitments are underway ahead of the spring establishment of the Stockholm office.
Henrik Ottosson, CEO of Lundhags Skomakarna AB, says: “The establishment in Stockholm is an important step that brings us closer to customers and retailers, to the market at large, and also gives us access to a broader recruitment base… The potential in the outdoor segment is great, and we therefore choose to invest aggressively in growth and development of our organization and our partners.”
