Millet and Alpine Ski Pool in Partnership
French outdoor brand Millet has started a collaboration with Swedish Alpine Ski Pool (ASP), making elite ski training accessible to all types of skiers.

French outdoor brand Millet has started a collaboration with Swedish Alpine Ski Pool (ASP) beginning fall 2012.
Alpine Ski Pool was founded four years ago by Jonas Lind, who himself has a background as a competition skier at elite level. When Jonas was forced to put his competitive career on hold due to a back injury, he trained as a coach instead – he has coached the Swedish Junior National Team and Men’s World Cup Team, among others – and the idea of starting Alpine Ski Pool took shape. Today the company consists of five coaches, in addition to Jonas himself as CEO, including co-owner Linda Klaesson.
With the three core values of Ski Joy, Experience, and Engagement, ASP wants to make elite training accessible to all types of skiers – both those who actively train and compete in downhill skiing and those who simply love skiing and want to develop their technique.
Millet, with roots in Chamonix, has for over sixty years focused on clothing and equipment for all types of mountain sports such as climbing, alpinism, freeride skiing, trekking, and hiking. The product range includes shoes, clothing, backpacks, ropes, and sleeping bags.
On the Swedish market, International Sportswear Company handles sales and marketing of the brand, and CEO Jan Lundin is very pleased with the new partnership: “At Millet, the importance of practical experience in product development is prioritized, with close collaboration with numerous prominent athletes. It therefore feels important that we also have partners in Sweden who use our products in ‘real life.’ We truly look forward to the collaboration with ASP.”
