Norrøna lofoten Avi ACE: an avalanche-airbag vest
The 15-liter vest-style pack uses an Alpride E2 system and dedicated equipment storage.
Norrøna’s lofoten Avi ACE 15L Pack combines a vest-style carrying system with a rechargeable Alpride E2 avalanche airbag. The manufacturer lists a total weight of 2,700 g including the E2 system. Norrøna’s product details.
The main face fabric contains 60% recycled 160D polyamide and 40% 180D Kevlar, with a PU coating and C0 water-repellent finish. Mesh areas support ventilation and comfort.
Storage is provided for avalanche equipment and other essentials, including skins, a helmet, radio and phone. Norrøna says the avalanche-equipment compartment can be accessed without removing the pack. The E2 trigger can be fitted on either shoulder, and the pack comes in one size.
