Addnature’s 2011 ÖTILLÖ training evening
The August 18 event at Hellasgården combined swimrun practice, practical advice and an evening barbecue.

Addnature and its partners, together with Johan and Daniel from FJS Adventure Racing, announced a training evening at Hellasgården in Stockholm on August 18, 2011.
The evening was scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. with a briefing and introduction, followed by a miniature ÖTILLÖ-style course around Hellassjön. At 8 p.m., Addnature would provide drinks and grilled burgers.
The event was aimed at people preparing for ÖTILLÖ, considering entering in the future, or simply looking for an inspiring swimrun session.
What the SEK 200 fee included
- Training, practical advice and inspiration from Johan and Daniel.
- A chance for teams to try their ÖTILLÖ approach in a race-like setting.
- A burger or vegetarian alternative after training.
- Stand-up paddleboards on the water as safety support.
Participation requirements in the original invitation
Participants were expected to be able to swim at least 1 km comfortably and look after themselves and their partner in open water. The organizers also welcomed people who did not meet that level, provided they adapted the course to their own ability and judgment.
A wetsuit and equipment for swimming and trail running were required. The registration deadline was August 15, 2011.
