Polartec names Europe’s 2011 APEX Design Award winners
Polartec recognized 13 designs for autumn and winter 2011–12, rewarding inventive use of its fabrics alongside design, function and fit.
Polartec LLC, which developed fabrics for base layers, midlayers and softshells as well as waterproof NeoShell®, announced its European APEX Design Award winners for 2011. The awards recognized 13 outstanding designs made with Polartec fabrics and due on the market in autumn and winter 2011–12. Judging considered design, function and fit, with an emphasis on inventive construction that made effective use of the materials.
