Bo Hilleberg named OutDoor Celebrity of the Year 2010
An international jury honored Hilleberg founder Bo Hilleberg at the Friedrichshafen outdoor trade show in 2010.
Bo Hilleberg, founder of Hilleberg the Tentmaker, received the OutDoor Celebrity of the Year 2010 award at the outdoor trade show in Friedrichshafen.
Presented for the fifth time, the award recognized and encouraged influential figures in the outdoor industry. The winner was chosen by a jury of international journalists and business representatives.
Bo founded his first company, Hillebergs AB, in 1971 to sell forestry machinery. Designing tents was initially more of a hobby. By 2010, Hilleberg had become a respected tent manufacturer known for innovation and quality.
