SILVA becomes a Vasaloppet partner
The 2015 supplier agreement connected SILVA with Vasaloppet’s skiing, running and cycling events.

SILVA became a Vasaloppet partner in January 2015, hoping to help more people experience crossing the finish line at one of its events.
“We have products that make it possible to train when people want to and have time, without being limited by the demanding Nordic climate,” said SILVA CEO Patrik Elfwing.
He welcomed joining what had become a broad sporting movement, with more than 90,000 entries across its events each year at the time. The agreement was a supplier partnership.
“We are very proud of this new collaboration. Our goal is to become a leading supplier of accessories for activities including cross-country skiing, trail running and mountain biking. Vasaloppet is both a classic and a forward-looking setting for all these sports,” Elfwing said.
The announcement described SILVA as one of the Nordic region’s leading outdoor and sports-accessory manufacturers, with products including headlamps and waterproof bags. It had recently introduced more equipment for running, cycling, outdoor activities and cross-country skiing, with further products in development.
As part of its work to develop and showcase its products, SILVA had also signed a sponsorship agreement with Norway’s national cross-country skiing team earlier that year.
