Welcoming the 2010 skating season
Photographs from Niclas Ström’s first skating outing near Åre marked the start of the 2010–11 winter season for the editorial team.
In early November 2010, a good friend sent us photographs from his first skating outing of the season on ice near Åre the previous week.
Skating and skiing season were approaching quickly. Farther north, winter activities had already begun, and we hoped that the morning’s freezing temperatures in Mälardalen would be the start of a long, enjoyable skating winter.
With these photographs from Åre resident Niclas Ström, the editorial team wished everyone a pleasant, and not too wet, season on the ice.
