SUP in the City 2011
FahlénSurf and Kajaktiv’s first SUP in the City series brought relaxed races and introductory paddling sessions to Stockholm, Varberg and Malmö.
FahlénSurf and Kajaktiv introduced the first SUP in the City series in July 2011. Following the previous year’s Varberg SUP race, the events combined relaxed competition with public demonstration days, giving as many people as possible a chance to try stand-up paddling.
- Stockholm, July 2–3: Hammarby Sjöstad, between Sickla Sluss and Lugnets Allé.
- Varberg, July 9–10: By Kallbadhuset.
- Malmö, July 30–31: Västra Hamnen, as part of the Urban Beach Festival.
