Tough Viking announces its 2015 race calendar and Intersport partnership
The Reebok-presented obstacle race planned eight Nordic events in 2015, with Intersport joining as retail partner.

First held in 2013, Tough Viking, presented by Reebok, quickly grew into what its organizers described as the Nordic region’s largest obstacle race. Eight races were planned across Sweden, Norway and Finland in 2015, with Intersport joining as Nordic retail partner.
The courses combined demanding, wet kilometers with large obstacles designed by specialists from Sweden’s Coastal Ranger Company. The announcement listed fire, ice, 10,000-volt electrical obstacles, barbed wire, mud, reeds, monkey bars and American football teams among the challenges.
“The partnership with Intersport gives us an opportunity to present Reebok’s fitness collection to the right audience, not only on race day but also before and after the events,” said Kalle Kickuth, Nordic Brand Director at Reebok.
“We are proud to bring in a Nordic partner of Intersport’s caliber and look forward to a successful collaboration,” said race owner David Klint.
Intersport CEO Ulf Kinneson added: “For us, this partnership is an important part of strengthening our position in sport alongside one of our largest suppliers.”
