A Naturkompaniet promotion ran from November 23, 2010, to January 10, 2011, offering buyers of a 66 North product the chance to win a trip to Iceland.

How the contest worked

Participants had to buy any 66 North product during the campaign and answer the questions on the supplied entry form. The form and a copy of the receipt were then mailed to the address printed on it. Entries had to be postmarked no later than January 10, 2011.

The prize

The trip for two ran from June 8–13, 2011, with flights, accommodation in Reykjavík and a full-board riding holiday included. Its approximate value was SEK 30,000.

Four days on horseback would take the winners along marked routes on the Snæfellsnes peninsula with hosts Sigurður and his wife Olöf and around 20 other participants. The route included seabed exposed at low tide, with hot-tub bathing in the evenings.

The original article wished participating 66 North customers good luck. This competition has ended; its terms are retained here as a historical report.
