JAQ – The World's Smallest and Most Powerful Portable Fuel Cell Charger
Swedish innovation company myFC, a leader in portable, eco-friendly fuel cell solutions for mobile devices, premieres the production-ready JAQ™ charger at CES in Las Vegas.
myFC, a Swedish innovation company and leader in portable, eco-friendly fuel cell solutions for mobile devices, will premiere and demonstrate fully production-ready units of the JAQ™ fuel cell charger at CES in Las Vegas, January 6-9.
Being constantly connected at all times and on ever more devices requires charged batteries around the clock, wherever we are. The portable fuel cell charger JAQ has a slim, minimalist design and offers green energy independent of wall outlets. JAQ creates electricity using water and salt packaged in a thin, recyclable single-use card. When the charging card is inserted into the charger, a chemical reaction starts that immediately produces hydrogen gas. Each charging card delivers 1,800 mAh to USB-compatible smartphones and tablets. 1,800 mAh is roughly equivalent to one full smartphone charge.

JAQ can be pre-ordered at www.myfcpower.com. It will initially be available in three colors – white, black, and purple – and comes with five charging cards. JAQ has a USB interface and can charge smartphones, tablets, and other USB 5V devices.
myFC will showcase JAQ at CES at booth #82322 at Sands Expo, 1st Floor, Hall G, January 6-9, as well as at the ShowStoppers press event at table F11 at the Wynn Hotel on January 6. During the show, myFC together with ABB will also present the new robot, YuMi®, which will produce the charging cards for JAQ at myFC’s factory in Sweden starting in mid-January.
