Garmin adds new fēnix 3 Sapphire styles
The October 2015 fēnix 3 Sapphire announcement introduced silver with brown leather and rose gold with white silicone.
Garmin introduced two new versions of the fēnix 3 Sapphire in October 2015: a classic silver model with a brown leather strap and a rose-gold-colored version with a white silicone strap.
They retained the original fēnix 3 Sapphire’s features and rugged character while adding a different visual style.
The fēnix 3 combined GPS/GLONASS reception and smartwatch functions. Its EXO GPS antenna and multisport features supported activities ranging from endurance training and cross-country or downhill skiing to hiking, climbing and trail running. Connect IQ compatibility added further smartwatch options.
A stainless-steel case, scratch-resistant sapphire lens and high-resolution display combined Garmin’s technical features with styling intended for both outdoor adventures and the office.
The new watches were available at the announcement, with recommended prices of SEK 6,399 without a heart-rate belt or SEK 6,999 with one.
