For autumn 2015, Petzl updated its compact headlamps with more light, stronger boost modes and an easier-to-use on/off button.

The small lamps were intended for everything from evening walks to running, skiing and longer outdoor adventures after dark. Alongside increased brightness, the update brought new colors and revised headband designs.

The collection covered Tikkina, Zipka and Tikka, with different models offering a choice of brightness levels and lighting modes.

The changes included:

  • New colors.
  • Increased light output.
  • A stronger BOOST mode on Tikka Plus and Tikka XP.
  • Simpler on/off operation.
  • Continued reactive lighting on Tikka R+ and Tikka RXP, adapting the beam automatically.
